Look what I found! Old Winnipeg 204 area BBS lists

I found some old floppy disks and I discovered some old BBS lists.

Steve George's descriptive BBS list with reviews from September 22, 1994 (missing a small portion of the letters F and G from data corruption best I can tell but more or less intact)

And the Generic BBS general BBS list for Winnipeg 204 around the same time period.

Enjoy the nostalgia.

Long ago before the internets were handed down to mortal men by Zeus, God of social networking, human beings banded together using tin cans, old phone lines, and discarded gum wrappers and created what were called BBS's. Aka Bulletin Board Systems. People would dial their computers and connect for 5 minutes a day to each BBS to download pornography and occasionally play turn based games. Eventually, the internet came along, and in the same way mp3's killed CD's which killed tape cassettes, the internet killed BBS's.
