Toronto message boards and news articles are mostly blaming the refs, ignoring the fact that they should be blaming the fact that these are the Toronto Maple Leafs after all.
If you're a Leafs fan born in Ontario, then feel free to continue your association with futility, but if you were born in Winnipeg and CHOOSE to be a leafs fan, I pity you.

I never understood why any self respecting Winnipegger would follow the Leafs. Most of the people in Manitoba I talked to that happen to be Leaf fans were mainly transplants from the East, especially the Maritimes.
